Central European Journal of Geography and Sustainable Development (CEJGSD) is an open access peer-reviewed journal which means that all its content is freely available, without charge, to the user or to his/her belonging institution. Publication Frequency: This journal publishes 2 regular issues per year (in June and December). Special issues will be published as additional issues. For regular issues, articles will be published as they become ready for publication in order to ensure that new content is available to the scientific community as early as possible. The articles of a special issue will be published all at once in order to allow for the internal structure of the publication.

Rejection Rate: Rigorous double-blind peer review ensures the acceptance of high-quality articles (rejection rate: 69% in 2022, 61% in 2023).

Retractions: Retractions are considered by journal editors in cases of evidence of unreliable data or findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research. We may consider an expression of concern notice if an article is under investigation. All retraction notices will explain why the article was retracted. The retraction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article.

Review Process: This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The articles is submitted to minimum 2 or 3 reviewers specialize on the topic for their reviews.

Starting from 2023, CEJGSD will be published under the auspices and with the support received from Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești - Faculty of Economic Sciences, Business Administration Department.
